Burn HONDACIVIC to build a Civic. Every car races automatically every 144 Bitcoin blocks (about a day). The block hash decides the result, weighted by how built-up your car is. Parts wear out, so the fastest cars need upkeep.
Nothing is custodial. You sign every burn yourself. The Garage never holds your Civics and never sends anything. There are no prizes to pay out, just titles, trophies and bragging rights. Burns are permanent: destroyed Civics are gone forever.
On the showroom, press Build your car and then Connect XCP Wallet.
Fill your build kit (register plus any upgrades, nitro and tune-up) or pick one extra, then press Sign & broadcast with XCP Wallet.
Check the burn in the XCP Wallet window that pops up, and approve it.
It shows as confirming straight away. Once it lands in a Bitcoin block (usually about 10 minutes), your car updates. Your car races every Race Night with no further action.
Build kits: one burn, one confirmation. The game only counts a burn once it's in a block, so each separate burn is another wait. A kit puts several actions in one burn. For example civic:kit:VEETN registers a car, installs Engine Stages 1 and 2 and Tires Stage 1, and loads nitro. The letters are V register, E engine, T tires, W weight, N nitro, U tuneup. Steps apply left to right, and V (register) can only come first. A kit can have up to 12 steps. Burn at least the sum of each step's price. The kit is all-or-nothing: if any step can't apply (a part would go past max, nitro is already loaded, V on an address that already has a car), or the burn is short, nothing in the kit applies, though you still get the miles. Paint, name, callout and the season part are separate burns.
Bitcoin network fees. Every burn is a Bitcoin transaction, so on top of the Civics you pay a small fee to the Bitcoin network (not to the Garage). Pick Economy (usually confirms within an hour) or Fast (next block). Economy costs less but can take longer when the network is busy, so use Fast if you're racing a Race Night block. Fees are lower from a SegWit (bc1q…) or Taproot (bc1p…) address than from a legacy 1… address, and a kit pays one fee for everything in it. Destroying and sending to the burn address count the same, but a destroy is a slightly smaller transaction, so the site always builds a destroy.
Burning by hand instead: in XCP Wallet, tap HONDACIVIC in your balances and choose Destroy. Enter at least the amount from the price list below as the Amount to Destroy, and type the burn tag (for example civic:vin) into the Memo field. In another Counterparty wallet, use its destroy (burn) option and put the tag in its tag or memo field. Tags are not case-sensitive.
Sending to the burn address counts too. A HONDACIVIC send to 1CounterpartyXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXUWLpVr is treated exactly like a destroy, with the send's memo as the tag. Nobody holds the key to that address, so those Civics are gone for good, and "Civics remaining" leaves them out.
Every burn counts toward your odometer, even one that's rejected (underpaid, part already maxed, unknown tag). The Civics are gone either way, so you keep the miles.
Paying more than the price is fine. The extra just becomes miles.
Burns from an address with no car earn nothing, except the one that registers it.
Two separate burns confirmed in the same block can apply in either order. If the second depends on the first (an upgrade right after registering, or two stages of the same part), put them in one kit. The site won't build a burn that depends on one still confirming.

Power = 100 + parts + 30 if nitro is loaded. A stock car has 100; a maxed car with nitro has 300.
One on one, your chance of finishing ahead of another car is your power ÷ (your power + their power). A maxed car with nitro beats a stock car 75% of the time. Upsets happen every night. Over a season the better-built cars rise to the top.
Breakdowns
After every race, each upgraded part has a chance to drop one stage. Tuned parts are more fragile:

Chance per race
Average life
1
1%
~100 races
2
2%
~50 races
3
3%
~33 races
4
5%
~20 races
At most one part breaks per car per race. Parts are checked in order: engine, tires, weight.
Using nitro doubles the breakdown chance for that race.
A tune-up halves the breakdown chance for the next 7 races. Tune-ups stack by extending the coverage.
A broken part can be bought back at its normal stage price.
A spare (won in a pink slip) absorbs a breakdown: the part keeps its stage and the spare is used up.
Race Night, points and seasons
Race Night #N happens at block start + 144 × N (start block 969,340). It's settled once that block has 2 confirmations.
Every car registered before the race block is entered automatically. Burns in or after the race block count for the next race.
A season is 30 races (about a month). The most points wins the season: a permanent 🏆 on your car. Ties go to more race wins, then the lower VIN. Points then reset.
Giant kill: finish on the podium ahead of the current season leader with less power than them. The most giant kills in a season earns the 🗡️ Giant Killer trophy.
Each season has an exclusive part, sold only during that season, with a serial number in purchase order. Season 1: Type-1 Wing, Season 2: Night Run Decals.
Rivals
Burn civic:callout:VIN to call out another car. The callout shows in the feed, both car pages list the rivalry with your head-to-head record (who finished ahead in every race you both ran), and Race Night posts call out rivalries when both cars race. Callouts don't change the odds; they just make it personal.
Pink slips
A head-to-head race for glory. Both owners opt in with a burn; the winner takes the bragging rights and the streak, and the loser's car is marked WRECKED. Nobody's parts change and nothing is won or lost but pride. Pink slips are open from block 969,386. Slips that raced before block 969,888 used the old salvage rules (the winner took a part, the loser was stripped); their results stand.

1
The race. Same odds as Race Night: P(A wins) = power A ÷ (power A + power B). Cars race as they are at the race block, so upgrades bought after accepting count. Armed nitro counts and is used up. No breakdowns, no season points.
The result. The winner's pink-slip streak goes up by one and its owner gets the bragging rights. The loser's streak resets and the car shows WRECKED until its next part. Both cars keep every part and spare; armed nitro counts in the race and is used up.
One offer at a time. A car can have one open offer out, and any number coming in. A car in an accepted race can't start or accept another until it runs.
Slip credit. If nobody accepts your offer, or you withdraw it, the stake becomes credit: your next offer costs only 1 Civic. You only really spend a stake when someone races you. Accepting always costs the full stake.
🐔 Ducked. Let an offer expire without answering (and without racing anyone else meanwhile) and your car shows a 🐔 for about a week.
Rematch. Within 432 blocks (~3 days) of losing, you can demand a rematch at 20,000 a side, once per slip. Your car needs at least the power (without nitro) it lost with.
🎯 Most Wanted. The car with the longest pink-slip winning streak (2+). Beat it and you end the streak and earn a Bounty Hunter trophy.
🔔 Alerts. Tap Telegram alerts on a car page (or DM the bot /watch VIN) to get a DM when that car is challenged, before the offer expires, when it races and when it's called out.
The pink-slip race uses sha256(blockHash + ":slip:" + offerTx + ":" + v) for each car v, at block accept + 6.
Champions and the Series name
No cash prizes. The Garage doesn't pay out XCP or anything else of value for results. After the season's last Race Night, the top 3 in season points (ties go to more race wins, then the lower VIN) are crowned with trophies, and the champion takes the billboard spotlight.
Season 1. The Season 1 prize pool (6.2 XCP, all from Series bids) was closed before any payout, and each outside Series bidder got their XCP back. Every car that races in Season 1 carries a permanent S1 ORIGINAL badge.
The Series name. Send XCP to the billboard treasury with memo series:YOUR NAME (letters, numbers and spaces, up to 20). The first claim needs 1 XCP; each takeover pays at least 0.1 XCP more than the holder. It's advertising: the payment is the Garage's revenue, outbid holders aren't refunded, and the name locks at the season's last Race Night.
Mints
What it is. A pull is a 1-of-1 card of your car, frozen at the moment you pull. Only registered cars can pull, as many times as they like, Street or Legend each time. Each card is a HONDACIVIC subasset numbered in pull order, HONDACIVIC.S1.0001, HONDACIVIC.S1.0002, …, with a locked supply of 1.
On Bitcoin. The card's art (an SVG) and its metadata (a JSON file with every trait) are both inscribed on Bitcoin as Ordinals inscriptions, sent to your car's address. The token's description links to the metadata inscription (https://ordinals.com/content/<id>?.json), so explorers show the art, and the description is locked after it's written. Nothing about a card depends on this site.
Slots and drops. Only the HONDACIVIC owner can create HONDACIVIC names, so numbered slots are released in drops: each is an empty subasset handed to the mint wallet. Pull #n of a season fills slot #n. The site only builds a pull while a slot is open; a pull that lands anyway waits for the next drop and is filled then.
Season editions. Pulls are a Season 1 edition. A pull is accepted only while its block is in that season; when the season ends (its last Race Night) the edition closes for good. A pull that confirms after that makes no card (the burn still counts as miles).
How. From your car's address, burn HONDACIVIC with the tag civic:pull:street (100,000 Civics) or civic:pull:legend (250,000 Civics). Like every burn it adds miles to your odometer. The same transaction should send the card fee in BTC to the mint wallet (at least 6,000 sats; the mint page sizes it), which pays for writing the card to Bitcoin, sealing it and sending it. A pull without it still counts and its card is rolled, but the card waits until the car's address sends the fee to the mint wallet; then it's delivered automatically. The mint page builds it for you, sized for a 11,000-byte card at the current fee rate.
The moment. The card is the car exactly as it stood at your pull, after every earlier burn and race: parts, power, standing, last Race Night (with a podium badge for a top 3), a giant kill, a battle scar if a part broke in the last 3 races, founder plate, season parts, trophies, WRECKED and Most Wanted. A pull in a Race Night's block comes after that race.
The rolls. Backdrop: Garage 45%, Night Straight 30%, Dawn Run 14%, Rain 8%, Neon Tokyo 3%. Finish: Gloss 50%, Matte 25%, Pearl 14%, Chrome 8%, Gold Leaf 3%. Street rolls each once; Legend rolls each 3 times and keeps the rarest, and has a 10% chance of a holo frame. With key = vin + ":" + pullTx + ":" + msgIndex + ":mint:" + EDITION, roll i of a trait uses sha256(blockHash + ":" + key + ":" + trait + ":" + i) with the pull's block hash; holo uses …key + ":holo". The finish sets the paint and the frame.
🏁 Victory Lap. From a car's Race Night win until the next Race Night, its pulls get 1 more scene roll, a checkered frame and a Victory Lap attribute naming the race. The site holds one open slot for the winner until they pull or the next Race Night runs; the winner still burns for the pull as usual.
Build boost. Every 3 upgrade stages (engine + tires + weight reduction at the pull) add one more roll to the backdrop and the finish, up to +3 for a fully built car. It doesn't touch race odds.
The build. 12 more traits that make each car one of a kind: body (Factory 46, Two-tone 14, Primer hood 16, Primer fender 10, Junkyard door · Oxblood 3, Junkyard door · Forest 3, Junkyard door · Navy 3, Junkyard door · Sand 3, Junkyard door · Slate 2); wear (Clean 40, Sun-faded 20, Rust 16, Dented 14, Cracked windshield 10); tint (Factory 40, Limo 33, Clear 15, Mirror 12); banner (None 58, NIGHT SHIFT 6, NO SLEEP 6, TOUGE 6, LOW LIFE 6, SLEEPER 6, MIDNIGHT 5, WANGAN 4, GRAVEYARD SHIFT 3); stance (Stock 30, Lowered 34, Slammed 24, Rally lift 12); wheels (Matching 66, Missing hubcap 14, Mismatched 12, Donut spare 8); roof (Bare 48, Roof rack 14, Rack + spare 10, Rally lights 10, Ski box 8, CB antenna 6, Stolen cone 4); front (Stock 40, Tow strap 22, Lip + canards 16, Zip-tied bumper 14, Bumper delete 8); rear (Stock 42, Mud flaps 18, Ducktail 14, Sticker bomb 14, Taped taillight 8, Bosozoku pipes 4); lights (Stock 50, Yellow fogs 18, Eyelids 12, HID 12, Headlight out 8); glow (None 72, Underglow · Cyan 4, Underglow · Magenta 4, Underglow · Violet 4, Underglow · Green 3, Underglow · Red 3, Interior neon · Cyan 3, Interior neon · Magenta 3, Interior neon · Red 2, Interior neon · Violet 2); occupant (Empty 48, Driver 34, Two up 12, Dog in back 6). Weights are out of the row's total; the first value is stock and isn't listed on the card. Street rolls each once; Legend rolls each 2 times and keeps the rarer. Roll i uses …key + ":build:" + trait + ":" + i.
Season caps. Some values can only be pulled so many times a season: Neon Tokyo ×5, Gold Leaf ×5, Chrome ×15, Holo ×5, GRAVEYARD SHIFT ×5, Bosozoku pipes ×8, Stolen cone ×8, Interior neon · Red ×5, Interior neon · Violet ×5. Once a value is used up it's retired: later pulls roll as if it had weight 0. Caps are counted in pull order.
FIRST. The first card of the season to pull any value with weight 4 or less (or holo) carries a First pull attribute for it, for good.
Rarity. The rank orders every card of the season by the chance of its whole set of rolls at base odds (the product of each roll's chance for its edition, without boost or caps).
Locked in. The token is sent with memo h: + the first 16 hex of the sha256 of the card's traits (shown on each card's page), and the art is locked on chain, so neither can change later.
Collectibles only. The Civics are destroyed, not paid to anyone. Cards aren't entries into anything: rarity, FIRST tags and rank are bragging rights only, and nothing pays out for them. A pull that doesn't qualify (no car at that address, too few Civics, or after the edition closed) makes no card.
Odometer, tiers and plates
Every Civic you burn adds miles. Early burns count extra:
Blocks 0–4,319 after launch: 2×
Blocks 4,320–8,639 after launch: 1.5×
After block 8,640: 1×
Tiers: Learner's Permit (0) → Daily Driver (10,000) → Street Racer (100,000) → Tuner (250,000) → JDM Legend (500,000) → Type R (1,000,000).
The first 100 cars get a permanent numbered FOUNDER plate. Civics burned before launch are credited as miles (at 1×) when the burning address registers.
Verify it yourself
Everything in the Garage is rebuilt from public data: every HONDACIVIC destroy and burn-address send on Counterparty, and the Bitcoin block hash at each race block. The randomness for car v in a race issha256(blockHash + ":" + v + ":race"). The first 13 hex digits give a number u between 0 and 1. Each car's key is ln(u) ÷ power, and cars finish in order of key, highest first. Breakdowns usesha256(blockHash + ":" + v + ":break:" + part) the same way.
The verifier is one readable file with no dependencies. It downloads every burn (destroys and burn-address sends) from the Counterparty API, replays the whole game, and compares each race with what this site shows. You need Node.js 20 or newer:
--all also checks every pink slip settled by then. Check one with node garage-verify.js --slip TX, where TX is the offer's transaction hash (it's in the pink slip's page address).
SHA-256 of the current file: 8f1e11ed6a6fb44545d4e772243727516eec05794500c22667b31f1e4bd089db Check yours with shasum -a 256 garage-verify.js (Mac/Linux) or certutil -hashfile garage-verify.js SHA256 (Windows).
--race N --all checks every race up to N. A race can be checked once its block has two confirmations. Read it before you run it. It is plain JavaScript, and the rules above are enough to write your own. If the replay ever disagrees with the site, the site is wrong.
